About The Dixies Arms

Vicki and Tony Hammond have been the landlady and landlord of the Dixies Arms since 2003 and have built up a large customer base from the surrounding areas as well as locals. They currently have four barstaff and two furry, four-legged members of staff by the names of Scrappy Doo and our new arrival Barney. You can follow their adventures in the 'SCRAP BOOK'.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Bagthorpe village, it boasts wonderful views from the rear garden or a place to watch the world go by on the front terrace in the summer. With its welcoming atmosphere and friendly locals, its a real treat to sit warming in front of one of the two real fires in the winter months.

The high standard of their real ales has earned them the coveted 'Cask Marque' award in 2010 which has also been awarded for the current year to 2013.

So, if you're looking for a good pint, friendly company and live music....Vicki, Tony and the girls look forward to seeing you.
